Description
This model is part of the Korean Hero Series and builds a complete castle (Battle of Wirye Castle).
King Gwanggaeto the Great of Goguryeo (r. 391–413) devastated Baekje, taking 10 castles in 392 and eventually besieging the capital, Wirye Castle, forcing its king to submit. This campaign, recorded on his stele, sought revenge for his grandfather's death and saw the capture of 64 castles and 1,400 villages
Also includes 13 figures including Gwangaeto the Great himself.
